Adapted from Margary Williams beloved children’s story, The Velveteen Rabbit follows the journey of a small stuffed Rabbit who longs for that thing called real. Although a nursery full of toys mock his dream, the Rabbit soon discovers what it truly means to love and be loved. 
 
This piece is written in Reader’s Theatre Style. It is both a crowd pleaser and a cast pleaser, with excellent opportunities to develop strong characters and take the medium of Reader’s Theatre to a new level of creativity.
